“I’ve spent 30 years helping organizations translate complex ideas into intuitive digital experiences—from global Hollywood animation to critical Federal infrastructure.”

A Global Perspective
My career didn’t start in a traditional tech hub—it started on a global stage. After studying Mass Communication and Music at the American University in Cairo, I was recruited by a Los Angeles-based post-production giant. For the next several years, I traveled extensively, editing  international localization and dubbing projects for Disney and DreamWorks. Managing complex audio-visual assets for films like The Grinch and The Prince of Egypt across studios in Spain, France, Brazil, and the Middle East taught me how to deliver high-stakes projects across different cultures, languages, and technical constraints.

The Evolution: Digital Modernization
As the digital landscape shifted, so did I. I transitioned my expertise in storytelling into the world of Web Design, E-commerce, and UI/UX. My career has taken me from building global tech solutions as a Webmaster in Santa Barbara to running my own private web studio in the Cayman Islands.

For the past decade, I have been anchored in Washington, DC, serving as a Lead UI/UX and Multimedia Specialist for government contractors. I have spearheaded digital modernization initiatives across the Department of Transportation (DOT), including extensive work for the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). I don’t just design websites—I modernize how the federal government communicates, building award-winning business intelligence interfaces and safety-critical mobile apps.

Today: Strategy & Craft
Today, I serve as a Senior Creative Strategist supporting major federal contracts for high-level government entities, including the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) and multiple offices within the Department of Transportation (such as OST-R and NHTSA). Whether I’m designing a 100-page annual report, architecting a new SharePoint ecosystem, or managing international conference materials, my goal is always the same: to make complex data accessible, compliant, and human-centric.

The Next Frontier: AI-Augmented Design To deliver at this scale, I actively embrace AI as a creative and technical force multiplier. I leverage large language models like Gemini as a strategic sounding board to organize complex thoughts and streamline ideation. For execution, I utilize AI-assisted development tools like Codex to rapidly troubleshoot, debug, and write code. By using AI to support my technical blind spots, I reserve my deep focus for what I do best: high-level creative strategy, art direction, and user experience. I bring the technical rigor required for strict federal standards mixed with the adaptable, creative soul of a lifelong artist.
