Samer Mina has more than fifteen years of first class experience in integrating traditional media and new media to produce high-impact commercial audio-visual assets. He commenced his career as a multimedia producer for the UK-based Longman Publishing, one of the world’s leading educational publishers of quality resources, for whom he produced numerous educational multimedia CD-ROMs in several languages.
In 1997, Samer was recruited by Los Angeles-based post-production giant, Media Concepts to join their international team in North Hollywood as the Dubbing and Editing Director, working mainly on the DreamWorks and Disney accounts. In addition to his hands-on experience in the studio, Samer’s responsibilities included traveling extensively to oversee foreign language dubbing projects in subsidiary studios in Europe, South America, and the Middle East. In 2000 and while at the cutting edge of new media technologies and philosophies, Samer launched Visiontime, a boutique multimedia production studio, which focused on integrating evolving web and multimedia techniques with traditional audio-visual impact.
One of Visiontime’s leading clients, the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, recruited Samer to join their ranks as their Web Developer and Systems Administrator in 2002. Samer developed and maintained five high-traffic websites comprising more than 5000 pages. He designed and deployed powerful e-commerce applications, dynamic online data-base driven web applications, and a high retention membership and subscription system – which all contributed to increased revenue for the non-profit organization. In 2005, Samer resigned from his position and re-launched his private studio in the Cayman Islands under the new brand name, EverZen Web Solutions.
Samer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Music, and currently lives in Washington DC.
