Arch

通道 (Passage) is one of my all-time favorite photographs.  Taken in the Forbidden City in Beijing, this abstract photo of an archway at just the right angle captures a unique perspective.

54 Frame Installation

Inspired to experiment with large format printing, I decided to enlarge and hang a 54 frame installation of ‘passage’.  In order to successfully align 54 frames on my 100 year old plaster wall, I quickly realized that I would need to build a custom wood frame that would be more forgiving if adjustments were needed (which they were).  Designing, building, staining, and hanging the frame was a lot of fun and I though it would be appropirate for me share on this post.
